Giuliani asks media to back off Palin
Former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani criticized a reporter for asking news about vice presidential running mate, Gov. Sarah Palin, threatened to derail the Republican National Convention.
"You should be ashamed of yourself for asking the question," Giuliani said after speaking to S.C. and New Hampshire delegates.
The exchange was caught on tape by ETV. To hear it, tune into "The Big Picture" radio show at 9 a.m at thestate.com.
News outlets have been searching out Palin's biography since she was chosen last Friday. Yesterday, McCain's campaign admitted Palin's 17-year-old daughter was pregnant, while others reported Palin worked for a political group founded by indicted Alaska U.S. Sen. Ted Stevens.
During his speech to delegates, Giuliani said family should be off limits but criticized the media for not fully telling about Palin's positives.

The reporter and republican had no problem digging up old new on obama and his family. Why is this family off limit,She has less experience then obama but mccain is nolonger talking about that.what are the republican trying to hide?.you need to ask your self.when you throw you hat in the ring be it male or female for public office your personal life is everybody business not just for the few.

Heck no they shouldn't back off this woman. She's not fit to be VP....period. She can't even keep control of her own household for crying out loud. She needs to get back in the home where she belongs.
Obama/Biden 08!

This is disgusting. I have no idea why the daughter needs to be dragged across the mud because her mom decided to be VP.

Not fit to be Vice President ? She has more executive experience than the clown who heads the democratic ticket !

The daughter should remain off limits, but the mother's policies are fair game. She believes in abstinence only education even though her own family's experience is proof of its failure.

The media state that she is 17. Last time I checked that was a legal age to consent to sex in most states, including SC. The media is full of manure anyway, so why pay attention to this. Once there are other issues to cover this will be all but forgotten. I applaude Palin for supporting her daughter. How many people in SC can say they have their 17 year old daughter (or son) is not having sexual relations... I thought so!

Phil Graham eat your heart out. Talk about a bunch of whiners. Anytime the GOP gets any news other than their talking points or how totally awesome they are, they cry "boo-hoo, leave us alone".
Can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. No matter, the US is showing you the door anyways come November.
C.Stewart? Is that the best you can come up with. Would you want Mayor Bob of Columbia negotiating with Russia in order to stop WWIII?
Why not? By your logic, he has more experience that the tax raising, wasteful spending, crooked governor of Alaska who makes Dan Qualye look really look like JFK.

Typical liberal pinheads! You obviously have the internet, so use it! Do research instead of just repeating Keith Olbermann's talking points (which are actually Media Matters' talking points, go to their site if you don't believe me). Sixth grade social studies would tell you that the governorship of a state is a microcosm for the presidency, and anyone who says that isn't sufficient experience is either wildly uninformed or uneducated. But then again that's how Obama would like to keep you. The dumber you are the more apt you will be to submit to the new world order. Go to the candidates' websites and actually READ FOR YOURSELF what they stand for. DO THE RESEARCH!!!
Too bad your community organizer cowardly backed off his pre-nomination agreement with McCain for town hall-style debates (as in real people asking real, unscripted questions), I would've loved to see him squirm without his teleprompter security blanket in front of him!
"Mr. Obama, why are you running for president?"
"Well, uh, little girl, uh, what's your name? Natasha. That's a pretty name. Uh, why am I running for president? Uh, because I got hit in the head with a rock. No. Uh. Yeah!. Uh, well you see..." I could go on or you could just watch the YouTube video.

I love how this article conveniently leaves out the fact that Palin took over a state that was riddled with corruption and cleaned it up to the tune of the highest approval rating for a governor (or any other politician for that matter) in the country. You don't think she can help John McCain clean up Washington? Look it up if you don't believe me. Sarah stood up to Ted Stevens (yes even after she worked for his "political group") as well as the other corrupt Alaskan senator and Alaska's corrupt Republican governor. They make a good team, he knows how he can clean up the legislative branch and she knows how to balance a budget. Want change? You got it!!

Read the candidate's website?
You call that fact checking? It mythology at best.
Palin was for corrupt Ted Stevens right up to her election day where she stood next to him and took his endorsement. Now's she's against it. Funny how indictments do that.
Palin was for big pork spending and now claims she is against it when the facts just aren't true. She wasted so much money in her town as mayor that the average cost per every living many woman and child for her deficeit is $3000. For a family of four, that's a $12,000 tax increase. Palin has underfunded school sex education. How'd that work out? Want to end the debate on abortion? How about helping women not become pregnant in the first place so they don't have to make such a choice. Naw, it's easier to act holier than thou rather than make real progress on anything.
This woman has only left the country ONCE in her entire lifetime. Is that's the kind of experience you want from a diplomat?
Go back to your caves. You deserve to get the beatdown that you are going to get come November by forcing McCain to pander to hard to get your vote. Instead of getting a real candidate who can stump for McCain and take on Biden, McCain now has to waste time and money defending her.
You can't attack if your too busy defending.
Suckers.
