S.C. delegates have to dial for their breakfast
S.C. delegates may not have had to open their wallets during their first delegation breakfast Monday morning in Denver. But it wasn't a free lunch, either.
Attendees were handed scripts and the names of a few S.C. voters to call and urge to support S.C. Democratic candidates, including Sen. Robert Ford of Charleston and Charleston County Councilwoman Colleen Condon.
Some delegates were slow taking out their cell phones to the chagrin of state Democratic Party Chairwoman Carol Fowler.
"If you are too busy to make calls, you might be too busy to attend the convention," Fowler told the crowd.

Wow. That's surprising. Good to see the political telemarketers are enjoying the call as much as the receiver. I guess sometimes you have to go great lengths to find a way to get the calls made.

They can make all the calls, but it still will not matter. South Carolina is and will continue to be a REPUBLICAN state. A look at the democrat delegates will tell you why. People are a few decades tired of the same old democratic message of transferring their taxes to those who depend on the welfare state.
