Most people are fed up with politicians who ignore issues that average Americans are dealing with and have concerns about: rising energy prices, low wages, undocumented workers, foreign policy decisions that drain the U.S. Treasury.
Lindsy Graham simply does not represent what the average American wants from his or her government.
In November, the average American will vote for a candidate who represents what we want. Americans do not care if their candidate only raises $983. Votes put people in office not money.
Voting for change means removing those who represent the status quo and giving others a chance to serve.

I for one do not want a political figure to represent me that leis about something as trivial as relegion. We saw only a few of the goings on inside of his church. Where there is one there is more. Obama is a racial biggiot. He is as bad as that republican whowas a member of the KKK that tried to get elected.
I agree that we need change!! However, obama is not the answer. I am a republican and I was all set to cross over and vote for clinton, and I have never voted for a dem. in a presidental election. In my openion there needs to be a change all of the way up.
Political figures should be paid just a little above Poverty level. They should be paidby the hour and not by an annual salary. Then you would see government by the people for the people. Most if not all political figures owe so much to outside interests that they can't vote on what their constituants want. If I were a senator or congressman I would set up an 800 phone number. I would have a computer explain the issues in plain language. Then you would be asked to press 1 for yes and 2 for no. Then you would know exactly what most of your constituants want.

Obama doesn't address the most important issues facing the average american. He has no viable plan for withdrawing from Kawait. Kawait has an excess of monies in their government. We should tell them that if they want our continued support then they will have to put up the funding. We are not doing what we first went over there to do. We should have gone to affganistan (forgive my spelling) sent in air strikes until the country turned up Ben Laden. If Al-Quadea had roots in Kawait then we should have did the same to them. We should have kicked butt and then came home. Then we should have said all tererest who take action against the United States this is what you will get. There would have been no country that would have let tererest action continue. We have the capabilities to do just that.
Excssive oil prices; We need to put a cap on gas prices. Make it reasonable, however, not excessive. The United States is the largest consummer of sweet crud oil in the world. It might cause a crunch at first but eventually the other oil producing countries would have to sell at a lower price.
Illeagal aliens; They should be given 90 days to register and then 7 years to pass a citizenship test. All this money that is paid to them we would be collecting taxes. I know several of them and they all would jump at the chance of becomming legal. This is America, this where you are supposed to get a new begining! If you are illegal and have any kind of a criminal record you can't become a citizen. No matter if you have been the United States for 20 years and have had no criminal activities, except for being an illeagal alien. All of our ansisters came from adifferent place even the American Indian came from what is known as Russia today.
As far as wages go there have been some pretty steep increasesin the minium wage. Politicans need to increase minimium wage to keep up with the price indexing.A federal sales tax would improve our economy. We wouldn't have to worry about tax increases because as the spending increases the tax increases. How many times is a dollar spent in a year? Everyone would have to pay the same amount. The rich wouldn't have ways to avoid paying their taxes. The middle class wouldn't have to pay most of the taxes. The poor wouldn't pay any more taxes than they do now. It would encourage savings, that in itself would streanthen our economy.
