House lawmakers have overridden the veto of a bill to restore the state's film incentive package and to move the state film office into the legislatively controlled Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism. The state Department of Commerce, which is controlled by the governor, oversees the film incentives.
The bill now heads to the Senate, which could make this law with a two-thirds vote.

Someone needs to understand that there are FILMS and then there are made for DVD Films. No on in the film office seems to understand the differenc, thus the number of C and D movies shot here. It make no difference who oversees it until you have competent leadership in the agency.
