Six of Edwards' eight S.C. delegates back Obama
The head of John Edwards South Carolina presidential campaign told CNN that at least six of the eight delegates Edwards won in S.C. are ready to vote for U.S. Sen. Barack Obama at the Democratic presidential convention.
Columbia attorney John Moylan appeared on the cable news channel this morning.
Edwards endorsed the campaign of his former rival last night.
Edwards' delegates are free to vote for whichever candidate they choose, but delegate Robert Groce said he would choose Obama.
"I was elected to represent John Edwards. I will honor his request," said Groce, 40 and a Summerville resident. "I'm very comfortable that either one (Obama or U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton) could assume the office and do a good job. The party has really benefitted from having so many good candidates."
Edwards' S.C. delegates plan to release a statement later today.

I will change parties before I vote for Obama. I don't trust him and he's very inexperience.
Many of my friends and relatives will also vote McCain before Obama.
The Democratic Party will fall apart, you wait and see because of the Superdelegates voting for Obama.
GO HILLARY !!!!!!!!!!!

Marie Paladino,
How is it that you choose a president? If your choice is based on policy issues, as it should be, please note that Clinton and Obama agree on policy nearly 100%. McCain, on the other hand, is a virtual clone of Bush. Do you really want four more years of failed foreign policy, failed domestic policy and general meanspitiness? Do you want the Democratic Party to fall apart. Think what it is you really want and what the country really needs before voting Republican.

Thanks to Comrade General Secretary Bush and his American Duma in Washington, over US$700 Billion of our money have been stolen and redistributed to wealthy Wall Street executives. Every member of the SC delegation to congress voted yes on this measure that has done us absolutely no good. We have a health care crisis, but congressional health care plans are impeccable, therefore there is no urgency to fix it. We have a retirement gap and a failing Social Security system, but congressional pensions are solid, so there is no urgency to fix it. Wall Street fails, and Congressmen and women stand to lose a lot of money, so it all of the sudden becomes urgent to steal our money and give it to themselves. VOTE THE BUMS OUT. Join me in firing the SC Congressional delegation and hiring people who will actually represent us!
