'Choose Life' license plates unveiled
South Carolina license plates bearing the anti-abortion phrase "Choose Life S.C.," were unveiled today at a State House news conference.
The plates, indigo blue and white, prominently feature the "Choose Life S.C." phrase. The letter "i" in Life is a palmetto tree.
The license plates are legal now that lawmakers passed a bill that allowed private groups to commission license plates by gathering signatures and agreeing to pay a fee.
The S.C. Baptist Convention a several anti-abortion groups commissioned the "Choose Life S.C." tags, which will begin production in September. The plates will be available for a $35 fee, with the proceeds going to anti-abortion, pregnancy crisis centers.

Delighted that SC has succeeded in getting a vote for the Choose Life plate, making it possible for that message to get out and for the proceeds to go to crisis pregnancy centers.
Here in NC the fight continues to even have a vote on the license plate. The Palmetto State should be proud to be joining other states that assist women, young and old, and yes, men, to make selfless decisions to respect life, and also give oportunity for happiness to those who want children.
