This is only the second time I have heard "get over it". The first was by Justice Scalia after Bush v. Gore. The second by the Clinton campaign after New Hampshire. Arrogant and dismissive in both cases. Scalia used it in Bush's behalf instead of addressing the legal issues raised by the case. Now it is used the same way in Clinton's behalf. It is a comment by those who justify any means by the results. It probably indicates that the speakers know that their actions were way outside accepted behavior. It may indicate that the speakers know that their actions violated the law.
Bette Lasky, the assistant House majority leader and a top Clinton supporter who was involved in both the e-mail and poll interventions, said she was sorry to hear about the bad feelings but hoped Obama supporters would get over it. "It's politics, and it happens," she said.
In a recent address at Iona College, Justice Scalia told an audience that it was time for people to stop complaining about the case. "It's water over the deck — get over it," Scalia said to laughs in the audience.

THIS IS A MUST SEE for SENIORS!!!!
Please SHARE THIS VIDEO with your friends, parents, grandparents, and/or SENIOR neighbors/associates.
"Fulfilling a Generation's Promise”----
Real Leadership for
SENIORS
Often labeled "the greatest generation," our senior citizens have seen a lot in their time. Many of them marched for equality beside Martin Luther King Jr., fought for justice with Bobby Kennedy, or answered a timeless call to service under President John F. Kennedy.
But now, many of them need help. They're concerned about Social Security or dealing with the maze of coverage for Medicare Part D. They're paying too much for prescription drugs and coping with rising costs on everything. More than anything, they're worried about the country they're leaving behind to their children and grandchildren.

THE COUNTRIES DEMOGRAPHICS DONOT SUPPORT THE ELECTION OF EITHER OBAMA OR HILLARY, PAST THE NOMINATION...I BELIEVE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY JEOPARDIZED THERE ONLY CHANCE OF WINNING IN NOV BY NOT RUNNING FORMER VICE PRESIDENT AL GORE, GOV EVAN BYAH OR SEN JOHN EDWARDS...I BELIEVE THIS WILL BE ONE OF THE MOST CRITICAL MISTAKES OF THE 2008 ELECTION IN HINDSIGHT.

Someone in a discussion with me in April opined that Barack Obama could not win the Democratic Party's nomination because "they" will kill him politically before the convention. The Clintons, the leaders of the Democratic machine, are doing just that very thing right now. Keep watching and listening; we will see how they do it down to the smallest detail. Republicans will be the winners.
