A view from across the pond: video

The Guardian, one of London's more sober and credible newspapers, sent one of their reporters to Pickens to decipher the evangelical vote in South Carolina. Here is the video produced on the Guardian's Web site.

And today, he filed one from the Lowcountry. focusing on the immigration issue here.

As reporter Gary Younge says in his blog as he travels across the state, "Dorchester (County) is 1,440 miles from the nearest border crossing with Mexico at Brownsville, but nowadays it seems as though the border is everywhere." He apparently also was enthralled at holding a gun.
