Fred Thompson gets $14,000 from SC
Former U.S. Sen. Fred Thompson, a potential 2008 Republican presidential candidate, raised about $14,000 from South Carolinians for the run-up to his formal candidacy.
According to papers that Thompson filed with the Internal Revenue Service, the Tennessean’s “Friends of Fred” organization raised more than $3.4 million in June. The organization allows Thompson to “test the waters” of a presidential campaign without falling under Federal Election Commission finance and reporting rules.

How do I get in with the Thompson campaign? I would love to be a part of his campaign and I'm not sure where to start
