Obama to open Upstate headquarters

U.S. Sen. Barack Obama’s

South Carolina

campaign will open its Upstate headquarters Saturday and celebrate the candidate's 46^th birthday with an afternoon of entertainment and food. Obama, an Illinois Democrat seeking the party's nomination for president, will not attend. But former state Schools Superintendent Inez Tenenbaum.will attend, along with Temo Figueroa, Obama national field director.

 

The Upstate office is the third the campaign has opened in

South Carolina

. The Obama campaign has also opened offices in

Charleston

and

Columbia

.

The Upstate office opening is 2 p.m. Saturday at 33 Villa Road, Suite W101, in Greenville.

Senator: No drivers licenses for illegal emigrants. This is a nation of laws and any illegal in this country is breaking the law.
I just turned on the TV and am informed that Barack is supporting drivers licenses to illegals in this country. I have never supported a democrat for President and your husband is the first I will vote for. I sent a donation that I could afford hoping to help his campaign. It is my opinion that if Barack supports the issue of drivers licenses for illegals he is making a fatal mistake. He will lose my vote, and also the vote of many white voters who do not see race as a criteria for a candidate. He will be supporting individuals who are breaking the law of the USA, and how can our President condone that? Don't let his do this, and you will be the first lady of the land. Again, this is a candidate killing move on his part, and you better get the word out that this is NOT the case. If it is, God Help You..........God Bless
