House votes to provide Bauer security
Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer is half way to getting a security detail, which would include a driver.
The House voted to override a veto issued by Gov. Mark Sanford that would have killed the $90,000 lawmakers put in the state budget to pay for a Bauer security team.
Two-thirds of the Senate must now vote to overturn Sanford. If it does, Bauer would be the second state elected official with a security detail.
Sanford has a four-person security team.

I cannot even fathom how our legislators could override a veto to provide Andre with a security detai/driver? Why on earth would he need a personal driver? Is it because #2 cannot seem to obey traffic laws? Perhaps he should take lessons from a driving school. Or, even better, stay off the road and out of the skys!

Hmmm...Andre Bauer for Governor in 2010...who else is aiming for the governor's spot in 2010?

Let him pay for his own security. No money for health care but lets shell out $90,000 to protect someone from himself.
And Cleveland, I've got an attractive cactus that I'm sure could beat Bauer in an election.

I love these people that hate Bauer so much. Little people in their sad little lives...that envy someone that has won election after election. Take a hint, find something original to say...then perhaps someone will value what u say.
intellectual peasants...

Bauer reminds me of Bill Clinton...tie a concrete block or twenty to him, toss him off a bridge into water, and he shows up on shore none the worse. Hmmm, Bauer for president?
