A day after suspended treasurer Thomas Ravenel and the Rudy Giuliani campaign cut ties, the campaign has named a new S.C. chairman.
Spartanburg businessman Barry Wynn will serve as the
South Carolina
chairman of the former New York City mayor's presidential campaign.
Wynn, a former chairman of the South Carolina
Republican Party, has been serving as South
Carolina
Finance Co-Chairman and helping to build the
campaign’s political and finance teams, according to a news release from the campaign.
“Rudy Giuliani has the common sense, experience, and
vision that South Carolinians
are looking for
in their next President. I’m proud to support Rudy and am eager to help share
his vision as Chairman of his South
Carolina
campaign,” Wynn said in the release.
Wynn is a former chairman of the South Carolina
GOP.
He is a graduate of the Citadel and is President and CEO of
Colonial Trust Company in Spartanburg
