Romney: Sanford, DeMint solid veep contenders

Speaking to a crowd of more than 400 people at Sun City Hilton Head in Bluffton today, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney spoke about fiscal responsibility, securing the Mexian border and the rights of states to enact anti-abortion legislation.

The message comes one week after the S.C. House passed a bill that would require women to view an ultrasound image of their fetus before receiving an abortion. The measure is now in the Senate.

The former Massachusetts governor also gave a nod to two state politicians when asked by an audience member who would make a good vice president on a Romney ticket.

After saying he didn't want to name names, Romney named Gov. Mark Sanford and U.S. Sen. Jim DeMint among others.

Talking to reporters after the speech, Romney said those names weren't high on just his list, but that they could be realistic vice presidential choices for other White House hopefuls, too.

I have just watched a video about Canadian Medical Care. People waiting 4 or more months to get appointments for MRI's-this is outrageous-and we here in the US are even thinking about copying their medical system. There has to be a better way!
