U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., said this morning she is thankful Sen. Robert Ford, D-Charleston, apologized for comments he made last week about fellow White House aspirant U.S. Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill.
Ford apologized for saying Obama, who is the son of a white mother from Kansas and a black father from Kenya, could not win the presidency and would drag down the Democratic ticket because he’s a black man.
In an interview with The State Monday, Clinton said, “Senator Ford has apologized and I appreciate him doing so because I’m all about breaking barriers. I think this presidential election has the opportunity to break a lot of barriers. And I’m the candidate with the experience to get to the White House.”

I'M SURE HAPPY CLINTON MADE HIM!! BE A MAN AND APOLOGIZE ON YOUR OWN. IM REALLY NOT SURE WHAT HE WAS THINKING TO SAY SUCH A THING.

Senator Obama will not be the Democratic candidate for the Presidency. It is not because he is black, but rather he is already having difficulty dealing with the media. Senator Obama has no problem setting up media events and photo shoots for magazines, but if you catch him in a bathing suit and publish it, you’re on his enemy list. Senator Obama has a long way to go in this election cycle, and he is not making friends even with the liberal media. I am ready for a black man to become the president. Dr. Martin Luther King Comes to mind here, it doesn’t matter to me about the color of one’s skin but the content of one’s character. We are AMERICANS! A black man would not bring down a ticket on either national party. Senator Obama just isn't the one. I expect him to fall out of the race in 6-9 months. It’s like a horse race; the fastest out of the starting gate rarely wins the race. Personally, Harold Ford of Tennessee would have a better chance of being the president. When Howard Ford came to town he allowed folks to ask questions.
Now regarding Sen. Robert Ford, D-Charleston... Shame on you. You are far out of the main stream on this issue. I think you are just sorry you said it out loud.

It is a pity for Mr. Robert Ford,D-Charleston to have such view toward Mr. Obama at this very time. It is in deed very bad of him. I wonder why he said what he said. His fake apology has no based. Please brother Obama, ride on, and don't look because unsee hand is at work.

Senator Obama will not win because he has Muslim ties. It has nothing to do with him being black.
I wish Condoleesa would run for president. She would be a great choice. She has shown that she is an extremely intelligent person, and loyal to the current President.
I can't figure out why ANYONE would vote for Hillary. She is so abrasive.
